Entrance/Exit Loan Counseling
Before receiving a federal student loan, borrowers must complete entrance counseling. This 20-30 minute interactive session provides tips and tools to help you understand your loan responsibilities and develop a budget for managing your educational expenses.

Prior to graduating, leaving school or dropping below half-time status, Direct Loan borrowers must complete a 30-40 minute exit counseling session. The session will explain your rights and responsibilities as a borrower.
