The Computer Usage Policy regulates usage of the ASL network, servers, computers, and other equipment. Please read it before you access anything at school.
ASL does not recommend one computer model. You can find suggested requirements for a personal computer here.
Set-up varies by operating system. You can find instructions for multiple operating system types in the Student Packet. If you have trouble, contact Information Services.
Your account is set up during orientation week, and Information Services will provide you with your log-in information. You can also find instructions for accessing your account in the Student Packet. If you have any problems accessing your e-mail account, contact Information Services.
You can find directions for installing printers in the Student Packet. If you are unable to set up your laptop to print to the network, there are student access computers in the library. You can also bring your laptop to Information Services to have printers installed.
If you are having issues accessing LexisNexis or Westlaw, please tell the library staff or contact your representative. Information Services does not handle password and account issues for LexisNexis or Westlaw.
