Professor Scott is a partner with Street Law Firm in Grundy. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, where he served on the Moot Court Board. He has practiced for over 25 years and has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation and the handling of workers' compensation and other disability matters. He has been named one of the Best Lawyers in Virginia by Virginia Business Magazine, is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and serves as an advocate for the American Board of Trial Advocacy. He has received the Bill Geimer Award, presented annually to a dedicated capital defender. He has served as a substitute judge for the 29th Judicial District, a member of the Grundy Town Council, a member of the Virginia State Bar Council, and a faculty member for the Virginia State Bar Course on Professionalism. He also has served as a member of the Governor's Advisory Commission on Workers' Compensation. He serves as ASL's general counsel.
