January 16, 2012, marks 10 years since ASL tragically lost Dean Anthony Sutin, Professor Tom Blackwell, and student Angela Dales. ASL will hold a simple ceremony of remembrance on Friday, January 13, at 12:30 p.m. The flag will be lowered to half staff and remain there for the three-day weekend in memory of the three deaths. Jina Sauls, Professor Stewart Harris, and Associate Dean Sandra McGlothlin will make brief remarks, and representatives of all three current classes at ASL will participate.
In the event of inclement weather, the memorial will be held in the Lions' Lounge.
