West Virginia Public Defender Services will be conducting on-campus interviews for 2L summer internships on Thursday, November 8th and Friday, November 9th (if a second day is needed) in the Career Services Office. WVPDS offers 2Ls in good standing the opportunity to represent indigent clients in a supervised practice in one of 10 to 12 public defender offices throughout West Virginia. Interns will practice under a Rule 9 (Third-Year Practice) Certificate and will handle court cases. This is a ten-week program. Interns will be paid $500 per week.
