It is time for 2011 Fall Semester registration. Please print and review the on-line registration procedure instructions, the outline of course requirements, and the Fall Class Schedule. Keep all of these documents at hand while you register on-line.
On-line registration will be conducted online in the Appellate Courtroom on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 12:45 p.m. Bring your laptop computer, network cable and your ASL Student Access System login information with you. Students who do not have access to a laptop computer may use the computer systems in the library. Someone from Student Services will be available to assist students at that location.
2L students are required to take the following courses:
• Constitutional Law I/LAW0221 (3 credits)
• Criminal Procedure/LAW0207 (3 credits)
• Evidence/LAW0242 (4 credits)
• Professional Responsibility/LAW0360 (3 credits)
In addition, 2L students must choose between one of the following courses:
• Dispute Resolution/LAW0202 (2 credits)
• Appellate Advocacy/LAW0342 (3 credits)
Those students choosing Appellate Advocacy will be required to take Dispute Resolution in Spring Semester 2012. Those students choosing Dispute Resolution will be required to take a three-credit elective in Spring Semester 2012.
Appellate Advocacy will substitute for a three-credit capstone elective and will qualify students to try out for ASL's award-winning Moot Court teams. Appellate Advocacy also satisfies the Upper Level Writing Skills Requirement.
