Some law schools give lip service to the notion of community service. At ASL, building exceptional lawyers who are also exceptional citizens is one of our hallmarks.
ASL is so passionate about community service that our students are required to complete 25 hours of service each semester. They complete this requirement willingly, as ASL attracts students who see beyond themselves and become leaders in their community, now and in the future.
While students may structure their community service commitment to meet their own schedules, ASL does schedule one afternoon a week for students and faculty to engage in community service activities.
