Appalachian Journal of Law

The Appalachian Journal of Law is a student-edited law review, published annually. In accordance with the mission of the Appalachian School of Law, the Appalachian Journal of Law provides a forum for issues that shape the lives of the people and communities of Appalachia. The Journal includes issues concerning the use of alternative methods of dispute resolution and community service, and will function as a medium for discussion to provide accurate and practical information for legal practitioners, the judiciary, community leaders, students, and educators. Although the Journal focuses on the Appalachian region, the usefulness of the publication will not be limited by geographical boundaries.
