Libertarian Society

The Libertarian Society of the Appalachian School of Law is a student organization dedicated to promoting the ideals and principles of the Libertarian Party.

Established at ASL in November, 2003, the LSASL adheres to the principle: “…that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose.”

The LSASL is open to all students, faculty and staff of ASL, as well as any member of the community, who wishes to attend and participate in the meetings and activities of the organization.

The LSASL does not, and will not tolerate, discrimination of any individual! Meetings are open to all; however, only dues paying members will have a voting voice in the organization.

For more information, please contact Michael Wilson (founder and Chair) at: mwilson@lpwv.org.
