FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DEPOSITORY Federal Government Depository Program logo

The Appalachian School of Law is a full government depository library. (Previously, ASL had a selective housing agreement with the University of Virginia's College at Wise.).

The public is welcome to use our collection during our public hours. Government documents are interfiled with the rest of our collection, so using our online catalog may be the best method of finding materials. There is a photocopier downstairs by the Reference Desk (copies are $0.10 per page). Government information may also be found on microfiche; printing from fiche is free. Finally, government publications may be found online, which will require a password from the Circulation Desk (public patrons have no printing privileges). Our reference librarians provide guidance in finding and accessing all of these types of government documents.

For questions about accessing government documents at ASL, please contact Rebecca Belcher, Access Services Librarian.
