ASL Hosts Intra-School Moot Court Competition

GRUNDY, VA (DECEMBER 9, 2019) – Appalachian School of Law student Taylor Jenkins was named the winner of ASL’s recent intra-school moot court competition. Sahar Soomro was named the runner-up. Students participating in the competition argued their cases before a three-judge panel consisting of Justices Cleo E. Powell and Teresa M. Chafin of the Supreme Court of Virginia and Judge Sage B. Johnson of Virginia’s 28th judicial circuit.
