ASL Student Named to NBLSA Post
Grundy, VA (February 6, 2018) – Appalachian School of Law 3L student Chris Porsenna was recently named the director of communications for the National Black Law Students Association for 2017-2018.
The position oversees all internal NBLSA communications and works to publish and circulate a national newsletter, The Legal Pad. In his new role with NBLSA, Porsenna will also partner with the director of public relations and regional liaisons to develop communications strategy.
He will be attending and serving as convention staff/support for the 50th Annual NBLSA Convention. in New York in March 2018.
Porsenna serves as president of the Black Law Students Association at ASL. He is also executive editor of the Appalachian Journal of Law; is a senator in the Student Bar Association; and serves as treasurer of Pi Delta Phi legal honor society.
