Interlibrary Loan
The ASL Library participates in a worldwide interlibrary loan program, allowing our students and faculty access to materials held by other institutions.
We strongly encourage members of the ASL community to check our online catalog before placing an interlibrary loan request.
You can download a copy of our interlibrary loan form (below), or pick up a copy from the Circulation Desk or a faculty secretary. Completed forms may be turned in at the Circulation Desk.
Generally, requested items may take up to six weeks to arrive at ASL. The lending library sets the amount of time you may borrow the material.
If you have questions about interlibrary loan, please contact Rebecca Belcher at (276) 935-6688 x1311. Our mailing address is Appalachian School of Law Library, 1221 Edgewater Drive, Grundy, VA 24614.
If you are a library that wants to borrow from us, ASL is A2Q on OCLC. Please check with Rebecca Belcher if you would like to submit an ALA ILL form.
Download a form (we include two on the page!); you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
