Virginia Tech Cybersecurity Certificate Program

ASL has partnered with Virginia Tech for an exciting opportunity!

You may now apply to earn a graduate certificate in one of two cybersecurity tracks from Virginia Tech while pursuing your J.D. at ASL.

Cybersecurity is a growing field with many connections to the law and is a natural adjunct to legal education.

In order to earn a certificate in either Cybersecurity Policy or Cybersecurity Management, students must complete three courses and nine total credit hours at Virginia Tech, typically over the course of three semesters, including one summer semester.  Classes are held online and may be completed from the ASL campus.  While most of the course material will be delivered asynchronously, some aspects of the courses may be conducted synchronously, generally in the evenings.  Up to nine credit hours from the certificate program may be applied towards the ASL J.D. degree, as general elective credit.
