Three 3L students from Appalachian School of Law recently advanced to the semifinal round of the regional Client Counseling Competition (CCC), demonstrating excellence in practical lawyering skills and client advocacy.
Raneka Williams, Lindsey Musick, and Angela Diaz competed in the regional round of the competition sponsored by the American Bar Association Law Student Division. The team was coached by Professor Alan J. Oxford, II.
Unlike traditional appellate advocacy competitions, the Client Counseling Competition focuses on the foundation of legal practice: the attorney-client relationship.
