Appalachian School of Law Congratulates 2026–2027 Appalachian Journal of Law Executive Board

Appalachian School of Law is proud to congratulate the newly selected Executive Board for the Appalachian Journal of Law for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The Appalachian Journal of Law provides students with meaningful opportunities to engage in legal scholarship, strengthen research and writing skills, and contribute to important academic conversations within the legal profession. The incoming Executive Board will help continue the Journal’s tradition of excellence and leadership.

The 2026–2027 Executive Board includes:

Outgoing Editor-in-Chief Olivia Woosley reflected on her year of service, sharing:

“It has been my utmost honor to serve as Editor-in-Chief this year. We have been working hard at restructuring the Journal to make it the most effective it can be, and we aim to have a publication over the summer to commemorate this effort.”

Woosley also offered encouragement to rising 2Ls and 3Ls as they continue their law school journeys, as well as to her fellow graduates preparing for the July bar exam.

ASL extends its sincere appreciation to Olivia Woosley and the outgoing board for their leadership, dedication, and service to the Appalachian Journal of Law. We look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of the Journal under the leadership of the 2026–2027 Executive Board.
