Appalachian School of Law is proud to welcome Danielle Almond to the incoming Class of 2029.
Originally from Sonoma County, California, Danielle has called Las Vegas home for the past 15 years. A graduate of Washburn University, she is beginning a new chapter by pursuing a lifelong dream of becoming an attorney.
“After many years of life, work and personal growth, I’ve decided to return to school to pursue my dream of becoming an attorney,” Danielle shared. “It just goes to show that it’s never too late to chase the life you want.”
As she explored law schools, Danielle was searching for more than an excellent legal education—she was searching for a place where she truly belonged.
“I chose Appalachian School of Law because I was looking for more than just a law school; I was looking for a community,” she said. “While researching schools, I came across an alumni video where someone described ASL as a place that truly treats its students like family. Those words stuck with me. Combined with the beautiful campus and the welcoming atmosphere, I knew this was where I wanted to begin the next chapter of my life.”
Supported by her family every step of the way, Danielle is proving that pursuing a dream has no expiration date. We are honored she chose Appalachian School of Law to begin her legal journey and look forward to seeing all she will accomplish as a member of the Class of 2029.
