ASL Veterans Law Society Working to Grow Community and Strengthen Mission

The Appalachian School of Law Veterans Law Society is back in full swing this fall, with members actively recruiting, connecting with students, and sharing opportunities to support service members and veterans throughout the region.

Through tabling events, one-on-one conversations, and campus outreach, the Veterans Law Society is working to grow its community and strengthen its mission of Advocacy, Service, and Support. Members are encouraging students to become involved while also raising awareness of the legal needs facing veterans and military families.

The organization’s work extends beyond campus. The Veterans Law Society is committed to helping local veterans access legal advocacy and appropriate resources when they need assistance.

Veterans who need legal advocacy — as well as friends or family members seeking help on behalf of a veteran — are encouraged to reach out to the ASL Veterans Law Society.

The Appalachian School of Law is proud to see the Veterans Law Society continuing to build its presence on campus while expanding opportunities for students to serve those who have served.
