Appalachian School of Law is proud to recognize Sana Fadah as Co-Valedictorian for the Class of 2026.
Throughout her time at ASL, Sana has demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a deep appreciation for the community that helped shape her law school journey. As she reflects on her experience, she credits ASL not only for preparing her academically, but also for providing a support system and mentorship that became foundational to her growth both personally and professionally.
“My time at ASL has been one of the most meaningful and transformative experiences of my life. This school did far more than teach me the law; it gave me a community that felt like family. From the moment I walked through its doors, I was met with kindness, laughter, and a sense of belonging that never faded. ASL gave me a support system that made even the most difficult days easier to navigate.
I am especially grateful for the professors who welcomed me into their offices with genuine openness. Their willingness to listen, guide, and challenge me shaped not only my legal thinking but also my confidence. The relationships I built with them, many of whom I now consider lifelong mentors, are among the greatest gifts ASL has given me. I am equally grateful for the incredible friends I met along the way, friendships that grew into a second family and made this journey unforgettable.
With that foundation, being named co-valedictorian of the Class of 2026 is an honor that feels less like an individual achievement and more like a shared milestone. It reflects the unwavering encouragement, support, and community that surrounded me throughout this journey.
It is a privilege I carry with deep gratitude as I look toward the next chapter: beginning my career in general practice in Virginia while remaining open to the opportunities and areas of law that may inspire me along the way. I leave ASL feeling prepared, grounded, and hopeful, ready to carve out my place in the legal profession with the lessons, guidance, and sense of family I found here. ASL is no longer simply a school I attended; it has become a defining part of who I am and how I hope to live my future. For that, I will forever be grateful.”
Congratulations to Sana Fadah on this outstanding achievement and on being named Co-Valedictorian for the Appalachian School of Law Class of 2026.
