ASL Students Support Local Arts Through Volunteer Service at The CAM

Several Appalachian School of Law students recently volunteered their time at the Community Arts Mainstage (CAM), assisting with an interactive escape room experience connected to the production of Misery.

As part of their required service hours, students helped welcome community members, guide participants through the experience, and support the operation of the event. The interactive escape room provided guests with a fast-paced, puzzle-based challenge inspired by the stage production, offering a creative way for the community to engage with the arts.

Service beyond the classroom is an important part of the ASL experience. Through partnerships like this, students build relationships within the region, strengthen professional skills, and demonstrate a commitment to community engagement.

We are grateful to the Community Arts Mainstage for the opportunity to collaborate and for the important role they play in enriching cultural life in Buchanan County.
