The Appalachian School of Law Veterans Law Society invites our community to join us on Wednesday, November 11, as we welcome Command Sergeant Major (Ret.) Dewey E. Clemons Jr. as our special Veterans Day guest speaker.
With more than 23 years of active service in the United States Army, CSM Clemons brings a wealth of experience in military leadership, service, and the transition to civilian life.
Throughout his distinguished career, he served in leadership positions ranging from Squad Leader to Battalion Command Sergeant Major, with assignments across the United States, Germany, and South Korea. His military honors include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, and five Meritorious Service Medals.
Following his retirement in 2022, he continued his leadership career in the private sector.
We look forward to hearing his experiences and reflections as we come together to recognize the service and sacrifices of our nation’s veterans.
