Appalachian School of Law is proud to welcome Alicia Cotton to the incoming Class of 2029.
Originally from Newburgh, Indiana, Alicia recently graduated from the University of Southern Indiana and is excited to begin her legal education in Southwest Virginia.
“I am truly so excited to attend ASL, as I have always wanted to live in the Appalachian Mountains while also being part of a tight-knit community where I can be involved and give back,” Alicia shared. “ASL offers this and so much more! I look forward to meeting all of you this fall and for classes to start.”
For Alicia, choosing ASL was about more than finding the right law school. It was also an opportunity to live in a region she has long admired and become part of a community where she can contribute, build meaningful relationships, and serve others.
We are excited to welcome Alicia to the ASL family and look forward to seeing how she becomes involved both on campus and throughout the Appalachian community.
