Meet Anne Pollio: ASL Class of 2029

Appalachian School of Law is proud to welcome Anne Pollio to the Class of 2029.

Anne graduated from Indiana University Southeast in 2024 and has spent nearly her entire life in Louisville, Kentucky. For the last two years, she has worked in a Prosecutor’s Office, an experience that has strengthened her desire to pursue a legal career dedicated to improving both communities and the criminal justice system.

“I chose ASL because of their sense of community,” Anne said. “I have worked in a Prosecutor’s Office for the last two years which has reinforced my want to improve my community and criminal justice system.”

For Anne, Appalachian School of Law offered more than a legal education. It offered an opportunity to become part of a close-knit community while preparing to serve others.

“I feel my best chance of doing so is with an education from ASL where I hope to not only connect with my law school community but the communities in the surrounding areas,” she said.

Having already witnessed firsthand the impact attorneys can have through public service, Anne hopes to use her ASL education to strengthen underserved communities and help build a more just legal system.

We are honored that Anne chose Appalachian School of Law and look forward to seeing how her experience, compassion, and dedication to service will shape her journey as a member of the Class of 2029.
