Meet Isidora Guzman: ASL Class of 2029

Appalachian School of Law is proud to welcome Isidora Guzman to the incoming Class of 2029.

Originally from Chile and now living in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Isidora recently graduated from the University of Mary Washington. As she considered where to pursue her legal education, she found exactly what she was looking for in the Appalachian School of Law community.

“I chose ASL because it just felt like the right place for me,” Isidora shared. “Everyone I talked to was so welcoming, and I could tell it was the kind of school where people genuinely support each other.”

For Isidora, the people she met along the way made all the difference. The supportive atmosphere and close-knit environment confirmed that ASL was where she wanted to begin her legal journey.

From South America to Southwest Virginia, Isidora’s story highlights the diverse experiences and perspectives that enrich our campus community. We are honored to welcome her to the ASL family and look forward to watching her grow as a member of the Class of 2029.

Welcome to Appalachia, Isidora—we’re excited for all that lies ahead.
