Meet Macy Foxwell: ASL Class of 2029

Appalachian School of Law is proud to continue introducing members of our incoming Fall 2026 class. These future attorneys come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, each bringing unique perspectives to the ASL community.

Macy Foxwell joins the Class of 2029 from Cambridge, Maryland. A graduate of George Mason University, Macy was born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and was drawn to Appalachian School of Law because of the welcoming atmosphere she experienced throughout the admissions process.

“I chose ASL because I immediately felt a strong sense of belonging,” Macy said. “After speaking with alumni and community members during the admissions process, I knew ASL was the right fit for me. Their warmth, support, and genuine enthusiasm made choosing ASL one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever made!”

For Macy, the sense of community she found at ASL stood out from the beginning. The relationships she built with alumni, students, and members of the ASL family helped confirm that she had found the right place to pursue her legal education.

As she prepares to begin classes this fall, Macy looks forward to becoming an active member of the ASL community and continuing the tradition of service, professionalism, and support that first inspired her to join the law school.

We are excited to welcome Macy to the Appalachian School of Law family and look forward to seeing all she accomplishes as a member of the Class of 2029.
