Joshua Marant (2L), Richard Rundle (2L), and Emma Walpole Lassiter (2L) made it to the semifinals of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition and won Best New Team.
It was an impressive 20-school field that included several top 50 law schools (Chicago, Michigan, William & Mary, Wake Forest, George Washington, George Mason), and schools with the top space law programs in the world (Nebraska, Mississippi, McGill (Montreal)), yet ASL stood out, advancing to the semifinals.
The semifinal round against another smaller school (Washburn) was painfully close.
Please congratulate Mr. Marant, Mr. Rundle, and Ms. Walpole Lassiter as you see them around. They all worked extremely hard in writing two briefs, and prepping for their oral arguments.
We are extremely proud!
