Meet Kennedy Parkerson: ASL Class of 2029

Meet Kennedy Parkerson: ASL Class of 2029

Appalachian School of Law is proud to welcome Kennedy Parkerson to the incoming Class of 2029.

Originally from Southern Maryland, Kennedy completed her undergraduate studies at High Point University. As she considered where to pursue her legal education, she found herself drawn to Appalachian School of Law’s unique sense of community and supportive atmosphere.

“I chose ASL because it offers the close-knit, supportive environment I was looking for in a law school,” Kennedy said. “Having grown up in a busy and heavily populated area, I was drawn to a community where life moves at a different pace and relationships are more personal.”

For Kennedy, the smaller class sizes and strong connections among students, faculty, and staff made ASL stand out.

“The smaller class sizes and strong sense of community made ASL feel like the right place to begin my legal education,” she said. “I’m very excited to meet everyone, please don’t hesitate to reach out!”

Leaving behind the hustle and bustle of Southern Maryland, Kennedy found a home in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. We are excited to welcome her to the ASL family and look forward to watching her thrive as a member of the Class of 2029.
