Tucker Davis is a native of Grundy, Virginia and is longtime political consultant and activist with over a decade of experience in state and federal politics.

In 2015, Davis was named the Virginia Political Director for the Donald J. Trump for President Campaign and later served as the campaign’s West Virginia State Director and Chief Whip for the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. After the 2016 election, Davis went on to serve as a Senior Advisor for the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee’s Office of Public Liaison.

In January of 2017, President Trump appointed Davis to serve as the Senior Policy Advisor at U.S. Department of the Interior where he was responsible for the coordination of energy policy and permitting issues related to mining operations throughout the United States.

Davis has been a featured keynote speaker at several coal and mining-related events including the Virginia Coal and Energy Alliance, West Virginia Coal Association, Kentucky Coal Association, Appalachian Coal Marketers Association, Tennessee Mining Association and the Interstate Mining Compact Commission. He is a graduate of Radford University and currently serves as the Executive Director of a conservative 501c4 policy organization based in Washington, DC.
